Simmeon Williams, Jr.

Simmeon Duane Williams, Jr. (affectionately know as Lil Sim) was born May 14, 1981 to the late Robin Cunningham and Simmeon Williams Sr., Late Grandmother Ephanna Williams born and raised in Washington, DC.

Simmeon was educated in the public school of Washington, DC and attended Phelps Vocational High School where he learned his trade in carpentry; he later went to work in that field.

He impacted the lives of so many that will miss his jovial sense of humor and caring spirit.

Simmeon loved ALL sports mainly Basketball, he loved to sing and dance, A fashion icon, cars and playing with his sons on the basketball court.

Simmeon also loved to socialize with his family and friends. Simmeon had a special place at DC Rec. Centers where he was a referee for the game of basketball.

Simmeon leaves to cherish his precious wife Che’ A. Williams, 4 children Simar Williams, Jeremiah and Ezra Anderson, Simina Simmons, two stepchildren Trey and I’mani Oliver. Stepbrother Chelo Williams. Grandmother Gloria Byrd, one Sister Tina Cunningham one Brother Charles Shark III, two Aunts Dannette Williams and Linda Byrd.
five uncles Dalwynn Williams, Henry Williams (Nichole) Keith Cunningham (Catharine), Antoine Williams (Annette) Anthony Miller. Two Nieces Myeisha and Kimia. five nephews Deyone, Rashad, Khalil, Khaliek, Charles (CJ) one great nephew Ahmari. Godfather John Graham. Special Father figure Charles Shark, Jr., three sister-In-Laws Gerel Grandison, Terrenthia Monroe, Yolanda Washington (Dave).

Simmeon, you were my heart, my best friend, my headache, lifetime partner most of all my everything. The Love we had for each grew so strong so fast even though we knew each other for years. I would watch you sleep and say to myself look at my handsome spoiled husband. I love you so much. Although our time as husband and wife was short my memories of our love will be cherished forever.
