Upper Marlboro, Maryland
Sabrina Nikia Thorne, 29, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
She was born on February 21,1991 at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD the daughter of Jay Dennis Thorne and Sandra Lee Copelin (Rich). After graduating from Largo Senior High School, she went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Sabrina was a compassionate and intrinsically kind person who gave the best hugs. She was a jack of all trades, there was nothing that she thought she couldn’t do. She had the most amazing smile, one that could light up your soul, and she shared it with everyone.
Sabrina loved her family and friends, she was always willing to lend a helping hand, she never hesitated to come when you called her, even if all she had to offer was her shoulder and a tight hug. She loved music; it was her gift, her second language. She could play almost any instrument that she touched and could often be heard playing the most majestic melodies on her keyboard, her trumpet or her flute.
The relationship she had with her mother and siblings was not like any other. Sabrina was a wonderful, compassionate and affectionate daughter and sister who always knew just what to do to make you feel better.
Most of all she loved and adored her children, they were her world. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into her children’s faces, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Sabrina wanted nothing more for them than to have a wonderful life.
Sabrina is survived by her loving children, Madison Lee and Michael Lee III; mother, Sandra Copelin; father, Jay Thorne; siblings, Robyn Goldsmith, Brittany Jones-Compton, and Ricardo Sir-Daniel Copelin; grandmother, Doris Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
