Jeffrey A. Demery, Jr.

–

Hillcrest Heights, Maryland

On the morning of Saturday, November 29, 2025, our beloved father, son, and brother, Jeffrey Allen Demery, Jr., was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 52.

Jeffrey was born on February 24, 1973, in Washington, D.C. He was a man full of life and personality. He enjoyed traveling and had a deep love for music—passions that reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for living. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter, loyalty, and warmth. A devoted sports fan, Jeffrey followed boxing faithfully and cheered on his Pittsburgh Steelers with unwavering dedication. And anyone who knew him knew he never left home without a hat—especially his bucket hats in the summer—a signature look that made him instantly recognizable and unforgettable. Jeffrey was a proud product of D.C. Public Schools and truly “Straight Out of Edgewood.”

Known for being larger than life, Jeffrey had a personality that could brighten any room and a million-dollar smile that warmed hearts instantly. His contagious laugh, jovial character, and radiant smile will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him dearly.

Jeffrey’s legacy lives on through those who loved him deeply. He is survived by his daughters, Jermaine Eubanks and Sage’ Bradford; his devoted mother, Inez Demery; his father, Jeffrey Demery Sr.; his brother, John Demery; and his fiancée, Gerleta Grandison.

He is also cherished and remembered by Aunts Maria Butler, Sylvia, Helen, Tijuanna, and Shaton Demery; Uncle Myron Demery; and Bonus Aunts Wanda Pope and Janice Hinton. Jeffrey leaves behind a host of cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends—including Andre, Jabbar, Richard, Terrance, Jamal, Rashee, and Charles (Man)—who loved him deeply and will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
