James Earl Coleman Jr. 61, of Washington DC, passed away, Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his home. A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 22nd at Ron Taylor's Funeral Home & Cremation, 1722 North Capitol St. NW Washington DC 20002. \n\nJames (Boo-Boo) was born on December 5, 1960 in Washington DC to James E. Coleman Sr. and Annie Morrill Lee. He graduated from Chamberlain High School. James was an Entrepreneur who maintained several businesses (Ann's Records to Morrill Limousine Services,etc.,). He enjoyed being a business owner working alongside his Mother & Brother the late Annie M. Lee & Karl Lee, working night and day to provide and take care of his family. James loved to read, he kept you laughing, he just enjoyed life and having fun, he definitely loved seeking new business adventures, James was also a Mason Brother. He also enjoyed music, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever he could. For those that knew James, you know that he wore many hats when it came to Business, actually there are too many to mention (smile). James is survived by his former spouse Tonya Coleman, along with his four sons, DeLonta McRae, Diego Malry, James "Dock" Coleman and DeAndre "Suge" Coleman along with his sisters Mamie & Toni, his Brother Andrew "Fitzgerald" Coleman, one daughter n law (Robin McRae) , two grandchildren Diego & Devyn Malry, several nieces and nephews, a host of cousins. A longtime friend/sister Joyce. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Ann Green along with his loving Mother Annie M. Lee, and his Brother Karl Lee.
