ona F. Ralph affectionately known as "Grandma Georgia" or "Old Lady" to family and friends was born November 5, 1931 in Georgetown, Guyana South America. Iona had one daughter Jacqueline who she will now meet at the gates of heaven. Before leaving Guyana Iona received her education finishing high school in South America. In 1979 Iona came to the United States to make a better life for her family, and others that's when she got into health care doing Private Duty Care. She lived in New York for 20 years where she fitted right in with the Fashion Capital, she loved her heels and hats. In 1999 Iona became a resident of Atlanta, Georgia.
