Dorothy Jean Johnson \nBecause you heard my cry with an everlasting love.\nDorothy enter into the gates of heaven on November 14, 2021. Dorothy was a native of Washington DC given birth by her parents Abraham and Eleanora Johnson on March 11, 1941. Dorothy was affectionately know as Pattie Labelle, Aunt Dot, Aunt Dottie Jean, Dolly, Big D, Ms. Dot, Grandma Dottie and most important Big Momma. Dorothy was a Breast Cancer Survivor of 48 years. Dorothy was a spokes woman for Breast Cancer Awareness she loved her little people her buddies Zariya, Ja'Schaun her favorite nephew Anthony Drew Johnson Jr. and her niece Shiessa Miracle Johnson better known as (Little Dot Jean). Dorothy graduated from Martha Washington where she received a degree in Nursing and Early Childhood Education. Anyone who ever encounter Dorothy was made to feel like family. Dorothy was a community mother that's how she got the name Big Momma, Momma had a zeal for life. She was a fashionista, she love cooking, shopping, and going to the casino with her road dogs Cornelia and Anthony Jefferies Senior. Dorothy and Cornelia were very close their relationship was unstoppable they were better known as the ladies in black. They called each other code orange and code blue. Dorothy and her daughter Dorothea (Turkey) were extremely close they were each others best friend. Dorothy retired from Georgetown Hospital. Dorothy was a member of Whole Life Ministries International where she also taught children Church along side her favorite niece Shigeta (Bonkie).\nDorothy leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her daughters Dorothea (Turkey)(Late John), Denise (Neicy) her sons Illya (Ayana), Aaron (Nicole), Lorenzo also know as Dorothy's baby boy (Tracy), Tyrone (Cindy) her sisters Mary, Eleanor, Carolyn, Evangeline, Linda, Brenda, three sisters transition before her Edith, Emma, Lossie Mae, her brothers Abraham Sr., John, James, Eugene, Stanley, George and three brother that transition before her Earl, Bobby, Ernest, two brother in-laws Norman, Robert Sr and her 7 grandchildren and a host of love ones relatives and friends.
