Calvin William Weaver, age 75 a lifelong Washingtonian passed away on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at MedStar Washington Hospital in the District of Columbia.\nHe was born to the late William Weaver and Minnie Bell (Hart) Weaver on November 5, 1945. \nCalvin quickly realized that he could accomplish anything he set his mind to and immediately dubbed himself as a “Jack of all trades” because of his many interests during his early years.\nAfter graduating from Eastern High School in 1962, he ventured into the world of carpentry where he acquired a plethora of knowledge and became very popular within the Maryland, D.C, and Virginia areas due to his beautiful craftsmanship. But, he did not stop there. He dabbled in car mechanics, motorcycling, and motor sports with his late brother Edgar Hart. These were his favorite hobbies because he truly enjoyed racing high performance cars, building things from scratch and making them whole again.\nCalvin is survived by his sister, Priscilla Nixon; Children, Fedo (Pernell) Powell, Daelos Mozon, Kevin Andre Weaver, Shannon Steward, Darin Jerome Weaver, Shelley Steward, Stacey Steward, and Brandon William Weaver.\nHe was preceded in death by his Wife, Carol Weaver and his 2 sons, Sherrod Weaver and Baron (Fedie) Weaver.\nHis Grandchildren include Fedo Jr., Carla Clinton, D-Arius, Deangelo, Tylar, Shanelle, Antoine, Kevin Jr., Charles, Zanaya, Zactavia, Ashley, Kendall, Kyle, Shakyra, Aliyah, Jaylen, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great grand kids.
